Good to know

WordPress logins and passwords are not imported. Authors become public author profiles without login. Create your team's new logins in Users.
Spam posts go to Posts > Spam, hidden from visitors and search engines. Review and delete them there.
Slugs and dates stay the same, so Google rankings are kept.
Very large backups can also be imported over SSH:
